Focus on the special needs community

After 25 years in the practicing in the Intellectual Property law community, Jane has broadened her practice to include Wills and Estate law, with a focus on the special needs community. Her passion in that area comes naturally as a mother of a special needs child.  She faces the same challenges shared by other families, giving her a unique opportunity to help the community.

Jane’s commitment to improving the lives of our dependent children and adults in Halton and surrounding areas has led her to join the Board of Directors with two local organizations:  STRIDE and Community Living Burlington.

STRIDE (Supported Training & Rehabilitation in Diverse Environments) is a non-profit, charitable, community based vocational rehabilitation program founded in 1983. STRIDE is the only Halton-based organization whose primary purpose is to serve the employment needs of individuals facing mental health issues. http://www.stride.on.ca/
